Our 2025 to 2030 strategy, Built with Purpose, Designed for Circularity, focuses the next years on three fronts: circular materials, lower-carbon production, and the communities we work in.

Our climate targets for 2035

We rebuilt our carbon accounting against a 2024 baseline and set three targets for 2035: a 65% cut in the carbon intensity of our own operations (Scope 1 and 2, the emissions we create directly and from the electricity we buy), 100% renewable electricity, and a 40% cut in the carbon intensity of our supply chain (Scope 3). We measure intensity, carbon per euro of value added, because we are growing and want the footprint of each tonne to keep falling. Making specialty polyester is energy-hungry, so we set a target we can deliver rather than one that reads well.

What we are scaling next

Our circular work is moving from pilot to industrial scale. We will widen recycled and bio-based content across our resin families, grow Texnascis™, our textile-to-textile brand, and embed design-for-recycling across product development so customers can meet rules such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

Told straight

We report the uncomfortable numbers next to the wins. In 2025 our energy intensity rose and the renewable share of our electricity dipped, even as absolute emissions fell, which is exactly why the signed solar expansions matter. Safety, by contrast, improved across our sites.

  • Scaling circular raw materials by increasing the use of recycled and bio-based inputs, supported by verifled traceability and certiflcation frameworks
